Valentines Sweet treats!

Hi there, it's Saturday and I am a happy camper!
I've waited all week for this day!
♥♥♥
Today's creation is made with the following
High Hopes stamps!
Today's project is a sweet one.... lol
I Grabbed a pack of chocolate hearts  from our
local store and divided them up into packages.
Created heart conversation tags and a fun dino
package for the kids.

The conversation hearts are stamped with Tim Holtz Festive berries. Red twine  and  Valentines gem hearts for some extra love.  I though that a hand written note could be added to each tag! :)

The Dino treat bag was created using a treat topper die.   You could hand cut card stock just as easily if you do not have the treat topper.  Heart embossing folder, Kraft paper for the sentiment and brown twine too.   I like the clear bags this way you can see the treats inside the bag!!
Thanks for peeking!

Shower Of Love

Welcome back High Hopes Fans! I hope you're having a good week!

We have been experiencing warm, higher then normal temperatures where I live. Nice considering it's January, not so nice because it has meant freezing rain and rain are usually on the weather menu.

Since we have been having so much rain I decided playing with "Shower of Love" was kind of an appropriate stamp to play with this week. I think this stamp could be used for a number of different occasions like a wedding, bridal shower or Valentine's Day to name a few.

After colouring my stamp with alcohol markers I cut it out using a stitched rectangle die - I love the stitched look on my cards!
After cutting a piece of matching blue cardstock I ran it through my Big Kick to add the tiny heart detail in the corner. I used a banner die for my heart in the corner and used the larger heart cut out from that as an embellishment. The tiny heart from was added to my banner die and voila! A masculine colour/feel  Valentine's Day card.

Card Recipe
Stamp: Shower Of Love (R144) - High Hopes Rubber Stamps
Patterned Paper: Posh - Simple Stories
Tuxedo Black ink - MementoCopic XpressIt cardstock,  Build A Banner die - Whimsy Stamps

Spectrum Noir Markers: BGR2 BGR4 BGR5 TN1 EB1 EB2 FS6 CR3 CR1 1G2 1G4 1G5 GT1 GT2 BT2 CT2 GB4 1G1

There is also a new sketch to play along with - we can't wait to see what you create! There are still a few days left to come play along!

Birthday Cards... Using Krissy's Snuggle Bear!

Hello High Hopes Friends,
Today I want to share with you a couple cards that I made using this
adorable stamp called (Krissy's Snuggle Bear) from High Hopes Stamps.

For my first card, I used different shades of  purple and brown patterned papers.
The image was stamped in black and coloured with alcohol markers. Next I paper piece Krissy's pj's heat embossed some hearts and added polka-dots with a gelly roll white pen. I also add some Diamond Stickles on her teddy bear.

Here is a close up!
I used an old sentiment from my stash, I stamp it with white pigment ink and heat emboss. The ribbon was plain white so I decided to coloured using raspberry ripple ink from S.U I adhesive the main panel with foam tape, to give just a little of dimension.
Copic List: BG10 R20 RV00 RV17 RV19 V00 E00 E51 Bear: E23 E25 E29 E31

I stamped the image onto a piece of white circle cut it with the biggest Spellbinder circle die and colored it using my alcohol markers. I found this adorable white and pink stripe pattern paper from my stash. I used Pink Pirouette seam binding ribbon added a light pink button from my button jar. Next I added some diamond stickles to her teddy bear. To finish my card, I adhesive a few hearts enamel I found in my local store.

Here is a close up!
To give my card a vintage feel I used a small white paper doily, distress ink around the edges of the circle and tag. love how it looks!

Be my Valentine!

Be my Valentine ♥♥♡♥
Hi, It's me Nat and I'm back again on this beautiful January weekend
to share some old school valentines.
Today's creations are with ....
and
and
These are totally sweet images. I LOVE LOVE LOVE these stamps :)
These cards would be totally fun to make with the kids.
Or give some nostalgic valentines to friends.
just  for fun
I'm making these for my co workers to enjoy on our
valentines day celebrations at work!
Super easy to make. Just stamp the images  on paper.  I used Copic paper and coloured up these cuties with Copics.  Cut various sizes of card stock to frame the images.  I also used a corner rounder to give more of a finished look to my cards. I added pop dots to the backs of each image and hot glued the ribbons into place. The tops of the ribbons are looped and the bottoms cut in a "V" banner flag shape.

These can either be tags since the loop is on the top of the ribbon or old school valentines. Just write your To/From notes on the back.

Not Horsin Around!

     Happy Thursday High Hopes Fans!

This week I've been horsin' around (pardon the pun) with another fun Valentine's Day stamp from High Hopes.

I love that the sentiment is included although I had to rearrange my card making routine slightly....after all, I didn't have to find a place for the sentiment! It has been fun to have a bit of a challenge with the process.

This week's card layout is based on an older challenge sketch from High Hopes. I have posted it below my card for you. I also chose to use some non-traditional Valentine's Day colours just for fun!

Here's the sketch I followed

I started my horsin' around by colouring my stamp with alcohol markers and then cutting it out with a classic circle die. The background cardstock was cut out using a circle cutter. I placed it on patterned paper from an older 6x6 paper collection from Echo Park. Some twine, banners and gumdrops (my fav) finish off my card.

Card Recipe
Stamp: Horsin' Around Horsey (P130) - High Hopes Rubber Stamps
Patterned Paper: This & That - Echo Park
Tuxedo Black ink - MementoCopic XpressIt cardstock,  Fishtail Banner dies - YNS, Classic circle die - Spellbinders, Fiskars circle cutter, bakers twine, Love Earth Gumdrops - YNS
